Soluble Fibre

  • blood glucose control: baobab’s high fibre and low GI helps regulate blood glucose by slowing down the rate of digestion, which produces a steady state of energy and reduces the possibility of an insulin surge.
  • blood cholesterol levels:  Soluble fibres can also help lower LDL (“bad”) blood cholesterol by interfering with the absorption of dietary cholesterol.

The results showed that although the WHO solution was superior, there was no statistical difference between these two solutions.
